Our Wet Cellulose Acetate Gloss is a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic films as it is made from wood pulp, a natural and renewable source. This material is considered paper and board according to UK Packaging waste regulations and is certified to ASTM D6400, EN 13432 standards. Acetate is biodegradable and accredited with being both home and industrially compostable, making it an eco-friendly option.
The high surface energy of acetate film makes it ideal for printing, varnishing, foil blocking, adhesive coating, and gluing. The finish has an extremely high gloss level and a harder-wearing surface, making it less prone to scratches.
